CIBIL desk

Free TransUnion CIBIL score and report. Then we read the profile.

The official score lives at TransUnion CIBIL — free once a calendar year, no credit card required for that free report. Monitoring and alerts are on their site. WishON does not issue a CIBIL score. Devraj Kashyap reads the report the way a lender does, then files the loan. There is no AI score and no automated bureau pull on this site.

Opens cibil.com, the official TransUnion CIBIL consumer site. Checking your own score does not lower it.

WishON reads it

WhatsApp the PDF to 81787 43853. We profile the file — delays, utilisation, enquiries — and match a bank or NBFC. No fee from you.

What the 3-digit number means

CIBIL scores run 300–900. Closer to 900, kinder pricing. The number is one line. Lenders also read payment history, mix, and how many times the bureau was pulled.

  • 750–900

    Strong

Private banks usually start here on personal loan.

  • 700–749

    Fair

A bank may still file; NBFCs often will.

  • 650–699

    Watch

Profile and banking matter more than the number.

  • 300–649

    Stressed

Fix the report before a hard enquiry.

Factors

Explore what actually moves the score

TransUnion CIBIL does not publish the formula. Their consumer guide names four things. Click a bar — see the report line, a healthy file versus a stressed one, and how long it takes to move.

Payment history ~30%Credit exposure ~25%Credit type and duration ~25%New credit and enquiries ~20%

On the CIBIL report

Payment history

Account status and DPD (days past due) on every loan and card. Look for STD. Anything else needs a story before we file.

Healthy file

Every live line STD. Zero DPD for the last 36 months.

Stressed file

A 30+ DPD in the last year, or SET / WOF still sitting on the file.

Time to move

A one-time 30-day late eases after 12–24 months of clean pays. Settled and written-off stay visible for years — often for the life of the trade.

What to do

Pay every EMI and the card minimum before the due date. If a delay is already there, clear the overdue and keep the next 12 months clean before we file a fresh personal loan.

  • STD

Standard — current. This is the only status we want on a live line.

  • SMA

Special mention — slipping. Fix it before it becomes substandard.

  • SUB / DBT / LSS

NPA-class. Most private banks will not take unsecured.

  • SET

Settled. You paid less than due. Treated as a negotiated default.

  • WOF

Written off. The lender gave up. Hardest unsecured ask.

Not in the 3-digit number

Banks still ask for these. They do not feed the CIBIL algorithm. File an enquiry and we read both — the bureau and the banking.

  • Checking your own CIBIL on cibil.com
  • Salary, designation, or employer name
  • Age, gender, religion, nationality
  • A WishON enquiry or this profile read
  • Property value (that is for LAP / home, not the score)

Utilisation

How to get revolving credit down

Utilisation is outstanding on cards and overdraft, divided by sanctioned revolving limit. It is not your home-loan principal. The bureau records what the lender reports — usually the statement balance.

Desk calculator

Your revolving ratio

60%

High

030% mark100

Looks like strain. Do not add a fresh unsecured enquiry until two cleaner cycles land.

  • Pay down to 30%₹90,000
  • Pay down to 10%₹1,50,000

Indicative only. Not a CIBIL pull. Not a sanction.

Pay before the statement cuts

CIBIL usually sees the statement balance, not what you paid yesterday. If the bill generates on the 15th with ₹1.8 L on a ₹3 L card, that 60% is what the bureau records — even if you clear it on the 16th. Pay 3–4 days before the statement date so the reported figure is already low.

Monitoring

Credit monitoring tools — whose, and for what

Monitoring means alerts when the bureau file changes. WishON does not issue those alerts. TransUnion CIBIL does, on their paid plans. The free annual report is still the one we ask you to send.

Official bureau

TransUnion CIBIL alerts

The product most of our private banks actually pull.

Free: one CIBIL Score & Report per calendar year — no credit card for that pull. Paid plans on cibil.com add CIBIL Alerts (new enquiry, new account, score move), unlimited refreshes, a score simulator, and CIBIL’s own loan offers. WishON does not sell those plans. We send you to TransUnion.

Catches
Hard enquiries, new trades, score changes, identity fields — after the lender reports them.
Misses
Anything the lender has not yet reported. RBI’s cycle is about 15 days, not live.

What to do

If you want alerts, buy them on cibil.com. If you want a loan read, download the free report and WhatsApp it.

What a good alert actually says

  • New hard enquiry

Someone pulled your bureau for a loan or card.

  • New account

A lender reported a fresh loan or card in your name.

  • Score move

The 3-digit number jumped or dropped on a refresh.

  • Delinquency

A line slipped from STD toward SMA / SUB.

  • Identity fields

Address, phone, or employment on the CIR changed.

Alerts fire after the lender reports — not at the moment of fraud. Checking your own score does not lower it.

Official bureau doors

One free report per bureau per calendar year (RBI). Paid monitoring is only on that bureau’s own site.

WishON is not TransUnion CIBIL. We do not bill for monitoring. Dispute errors on the bureau site; we will hold a loan file if you tell us.

Disputes

CIBIL dispute resolution

You dispute the data, not the score. CIBIL cannot change a line without the bank or NBFC that reported it (CICRA 2005). The service is free. WishON cannot file the ticket for you — we will tell you whether it is lag, error, or a genuine late, and we will hold the loan.

    Pull the official CIR

Free once a year on cibil.com. Screenshot widgets are not enough.

  2. 02

    Mark the wrong field

Personal, Contact, Employment, Account Details, or Enquiry — one ticket can cover several.

  3. 03

    Raise it on MyCIBIL

Login → latest report → Raise a Dispute. Free. The line is marked Under Dispute.

  4. 04

    The lender confirms

CIBIL cannot edit the database without the credit institution. CI: 21 days. CIBIL: 9 days. Thirty calendar days in all (RBI).

  5. 05

    If it runs over

Compensation framework on cibil.com. Then Nodal Officer, then Principal Nodal Officer — their ladder, not ours.

Should I dispute this?

Desk read

Wait

Paid last week — overdue still shows

Lenders report on a cycle — often 15–30 days. Check Date Reported on that trade. If it is under ~60 days from your payment, this is lag, not an error. Dispute only if Date Reported is older and the payment still is not there.

Official process, escalation, and delay compensation live on TransUnion CIBIL: complaints and escalations · compensation framework. We are not CIBIL. If a line is under dispute, tell us before we pick a lender.

WishON profile read

How a lender would read you.

Five questions. This is not a CIBIL score and does not pull your bureau. The official 3-digit score is only on TransUnion CIBIL.

  1. 1.Any EMI or card payment 30+ days late in the last 12 months?

  2. 2.How much of your credit-card limit do you typically use?

  3. 3.Loan or card applications in the last 6 months?

  4. 4.Oldest loan or card still on the bureau?

  5. 5.Any write-off, settlement, or default on the report?
